In our class we will follow the structure of a traditional kundalini class.
We will tune in (chant) the Adi mantra which calls upon the teachers that went before me. I will use their power and my own to teach the class in a respectful manner.
We will prepare the body with a short warm up and then we will start the kryia.
Kryia means a specific set of postures that when put together transform and heal your mental and physical wellbeing.
Kyrias release stagnent energy in the body and mind.
After the kryia we rest in savasana to integrate the movement of energy from the asanas (movements). Then I choose either to do a meditation or to sing a Mantra together.
Mantra singing is very dear to my heart and has given me so much strenght so I love to share this in my class.
The power of singing together is so beautiful.
To end the class we sing three long Sat Nams together.
The feeling after class is one of union. You feel relaxed rejuvenated and most importantly connected to your higher self and the devine.
